Replace a PVC door with a wooden one?

    Yes, but it's a messy job & hard to get right.

    It's easier - and I would imagine, cheaper - to replace the PVC frame with a timber one that matches the rebate size of the door, especially when you consider the difference between lock positions and hinges between PVC and timber doors & door frames.
