Medium format film

I have two cameras, one a Holga, the other an Action Sampler. Both are loaded with Fuji medium format film.

Question is, does anyone know where I can get it developed in Ireland, either a shop, or if not somewhere online?

    Thanks.

    Hi Pyongyang

Most chemists that do printing/developing will be able to develop your medium format film.

If you are in Dublin I would recommend Gunn's on Wexford St. Anywhere else in the country? Sam Mc Cauleys should be able to do it for you. I'm pretty sure there's one in most counties.

I'm not 100% certain that Sam McCauley's do standard B+W film.

The Sam McCauley's where I live doesn't do film at all anymore. The larger shop in Wexford town does C-41 the last time I checked (couple of years ago now).

Like dazftw said - Gunns is your best bet, and as is often said - very easy to do yourself if you were that way inclined.

Thanks for the sound advice. I will try Gunns. Is medium format expensive? I've asked in places before and just get greeted with blank stares.

I think last time I checked it was about €10, which is why I decided to do my own (am actually developing a roll of 120 right now...). Gunn's or photocare in Abbey street will do it if you're in Dublin, not sure about the rest of the country.

gunns is €4.50 dev only for b&w, i suspect similar for C41, but then you'd be left with where to go to scan it...

Most of the fuji standard 35mm processors are capable of doing it. I think most places that have an on-site processor and the cartridges would offer it.

Pixsavers Dundrum will do it in an hour, dev only, 5.50 and 4.95 for students. C-41 only though, no bw.

I'd recommend Gunns or else photolabs on lennox. pro lab BTW. They do both C41 & B&W. B&W is hand processed. Stay away from the camera exchange. everything is roller transport...BAD!!!
