    Looking for some advice,

How much would a rabbit be generally sold for? Are they sold by weight or by piece?

Who would you generally sell rabbits to? Eg do butchers buy rabbits or would they be private sales.

I would appreciate any helpful advice , thank you for your time.

There is a lad outside Cahir co. Tip. Premir game. He will buy them if they are head shot and gutted out. Leave the skins on. €1.50 per bunny. You would want to be shooting a lot of them to make it worth while.

Used to be able to sell pelts too, for a very pretty penny indeed! There are houses in this country built from that money.

no butcher can sell a wild rabbit in his shop without a game licence, they have to come from licenced farms, most of which are in italy

he more than likely doesnt have a game licence if he is getting them from italy, its all to do with the tracability now any butchers can sell farmed rabbits just not wild ones

    Depends on who you believe
    Some say they are increasing

I never saw as many deer as I saw this year.
    Animals in prime condition too

Not a hope. :) I think it was the 3rd of March I had a hind running alongside the car. Not a chance of seeing her the week before!
