    i got a job for the galway races. the contract is for 4 days. i will be unemployed again after the 4th day.
    do i have to sign off the live register and sign on again after the 4 days?
    help asap
    (ps. im on jobseekers allowance)

    Go to your local sw office and explain the situation to them they may only payment suspend your claim and lift the payment suspension once your 4 days work are over. You may be entitled to some payment on a casual basis depending on the days worked.

    I stand to be corrected but I think if you work over three days a week you cant get a SW payment for that week, that is of course if you declare the days you work at the races to SW.

    Which you must do.
    As eastbono said, approach your office, they will suspend your claim, and then you can be put into payment easily when the work is finished.
    You will probably have to supply an employers letter to say the dates worked.
