Wrecked Learners Permit

Hi wasn't sure where to post this as it's not really to do with learning to drive.

I accidentally put my learners permit in the wash with my jeans and now the paper has turned to mush basically. You can still see the front page with my picture and the license number but you cant open it up as the pages have kind of welded together.

Its up for renewal in a few days anyway but I was just wondering do I need to get a garda to sign a form like when you lose the permit or can I still just go straight into the tax office with it?
    Thanks :D

I would just go into the tax office. If the page with you licence number and picture is still ok, that is the most important part. They know what is on the other pages.
