Deleting Meteor Carrier Settings

Accidentally accepted these settings on a factory unlocked iphone.

My contact names no longer come up when I get calls (just numbers), facetime is gone and the contacts look different.

How in gods name do I remove meteor's crap from my unlocked phone??? Tried resetting the settings but no joy.

Not really tempted to fully erase everything if they still appear.

I thought carrier setting files only changes your data and mms settings etc??

Anyway, to change those settings the below worked for me.

Go to settings/general/network. To manually edit the apn etc you need a 'cellular data network' option in here. If you don't have that option, try ejecting your sim tray completely while on that screen, then re inserting it. This brought up Thr 'cellular data network' option for me but not 100% sure it'll sort all your issues.

Are you jailbroken? If yes there's a simple way to delete meteor's carrier bundle.

The only thing the Meteor settings do is put in the Meteor Data/MMS settings and remove your ability to edit those. Your contacts are completely separate. If you are running iOS 5 Beta, I am seeing an issue where your call log just displays the numbers, rather than the names, but it seems to fix itself.
