Hi.

My father has a Philips DVD/VHS Recorder. It is about 6 years old. It previously had the laser reader (or something like that repaired a while back). The message "unknown disc, please check disc again" pops up often when I insert a DVD. Some DVD's from the Mirror newspaper work and some don't. They all work on my PC DVD player?

Any solutions?
