    Hi,

I am just wondering if anyone out there could tell me what do I need for framing? I am an illustrator and I am looking into selling prints of my drawings and I want to find out the cheapest and easiest way to make frames, both wooden and cardboard.

If anyone has any advice on the best way to go about presenting prints I would be very grateful to hear from you...

    ok to do it properly

    morso guilotine
    underpinner
    mount cutter
    glass cutter
    cutting mats
    framers point gun

    various hand tools

somewhere to store 3m lengths of moulding, mountboard, backing board etc

oh yea and a good bit of experience

now there are ways to do it with cheaper bits of kit, but you wont get quite as good results, OR will spend ages or lots of materials to get a good results

why not just get someone to make frames and you assemble them, ie polish glass, mount the image, etc
