Par 3 in galway

    Just wondering if theres any par 3 courses in galway that would be a good beginner course??? i have done the pitch and putt and feeling adventurous!! or where ever would be the easiest to start on?

    No par 3 course in Galway I can think of. There was one in Roshill but it's closed a while now. I think theres one in Cross (Co. Mayo) but it's a good 35 / 40 minutes from Galway city. Your best bet would probably be Glenlo Abbey on the Clifden road about 10 minutes from Galway. Driving range and 9 hole course with double greens/pins so you can play as an 18 hole course. It's good for beginners as it's cheap and cheerful but not always in the best shape. Would be worth trying anyway I reckon.
