with a DE razor? I have been considering switching over from the old wlkinson sword, but i generally tend to shave in the shower, and this is not something i am likely to give up in the longterm. So the question is, can the experienced DE shavers comfortably shave without a mirror, and if so. how long did it take?

I can no matter what I could never shave properly without a mirror, I'd imagine with practice you could likely do a somewhat decent job with a DE without a mirror but wouldn't be 100%

I have trouble shaving with the mirror a little bit foggy. I wouldn't even attempt it without a mirror tbh.

I've practiced shaving the nape of my neck with a straight razor :) mirror is pretty redundant then....suprised myself (in a good way)

You could always put a mirror in the shower

ooh, I dunno, I went to Ikea and bought a feckin very large mirror and I'd be lost without it! The sheer size of it means it doesn't all get fogged up. I wouldn't like to try shaving without a mirror, just my personal view (see what I did there:D)

I moved into a house in 2nd year of college which had no mirrors. Landlord said he was getting some installed soon. We didn't have them for 5-6 months, so perfected shaving with no mirror. Learned to feel my face for bits I missed.

I could - would have to be one of the anti steam ones?

Do you shave without a mirror? Took about 2-3 weeks to end up with a decent shave everytime for me.

The razor i use has little to no potential to create an incision on the skin, which is why i can shave relatively quickly with no mirror! A risk greatly increased i presume with a DE razor!

well i had done for a long time, I stopped when i moved a few months ago as there is a mirror over the sink, so its hard not to look into it! I used to shave in the shower which was easy with no mirror.

perhaps practice in a mirror for a little with that shaver as i hear you will be used to too much pressure on your skin from blunter razors, just use it very lightly and it should be no bother.

I couldn't, wouldn't risk it, I have a beard to shape so I'd probably end up making it look uneven and silly.

No I couldn't I'd afraid that I would end looking like Freddy Kruger after I'm done
