    Moved from Apple Media Devices, as its not really an iDevice announcement.

    Its also worth noting that the Macbook Air is now the full on entry level Macbook, as the white plastic model has been retired.

    I'm not 100% sure, but when it comes to the Macs, I think Apple send out the review units the day of the announcement. So NDAs have to be signed to prevent leakages, although you usually get the specs leaked out before the announcement.

    Downloading Lion on my second mac today. Very happy with it. Love the new gestures and mission control. Highly recommend this update.
