Have many distance runners on here tried these? Apart from the usual bounding, skipping , jumps etc is there much more that can be done, and at what point in your weeks training would you do them, on easy or rest days ?

Cathal Lombard swore by plyometrics. They brought him from national to international class. So much so he was the only caucasian male to make the 2003 10k world champs final. Don't know the ins and outs of his regime but it was also heavily supplemented with high doses of EPO. Have you turned to the dark side ;)

Never ;), I'd rather finish last in the inter clubs than win it on gear.
