    Hi all,

Heading over in a month's time for ten days and was wondering what it like. We have a 7 yr old and a 18 month child.

Is there much to do other than play on the beach.

    Is it rough?

Is there any day trips worth doing?

Is the food good or all crappy fried food?

Is it still as cheap as it is meant to be, e.g. €1 for a beer etc

We own an apartment there so I am hoping the answers are encouraging!!!

    Thanks

These are just my opinions and others may disagree.

We didnt go with kids but there is a few water parks and did see lots of kids
    Is it rough?
It didnt seem rough during day and early night, maybe in the early hours of the morning (prostitutes)
Is there any day trips worth doing?
Nessebar is a 15 min taxi ride away
Is the food good or all crappy fried food?
I didnt enjoy the food i got but prob didnt find the right places. Could of been me though

I never got a beer for €1 tbh. Places charge different prices and it varies at night but i reckon your paying €2 to €3 on average

Thanks - doesnt sound great to be honest

Yes were there for a day when we bought it but it was off peak and in April so hard to judge.

Felt we didn't have to go immediately and would wait a few yrs and then start using the apartment.

Dont wine & dine on the beach side of the main road through the resort like most holidaymakers probably do, cross this road to the other side and you will find cheaper restuarants and definetly get your €1 beers I would think.

Plenty of places selling cheap drink. I personally found the food the worst I have ever had in any country and we stayed in a 4 star hotel. the beach and the Black Sea were the best bits

I was there last year and sorry to say it was the worst holiday ever. Nothing to do for my kids (I was near sunny beach) and the weather was dreadful. Also according to radio it is a very dangerous place to go, bags being robbed etc., Sorry for not having anything good to say about it, but it was fully of scumbags...

Wierd cos I've read reports and they have said the opposite - go karting, 2 aqua parks, lovely beach, really safe sea, nessebar, st. vlas etc.

Not sure what else is needed for kids?
