I've been off the road now for almost 9 weeks, with what my Physio has diagnosed as a a Sacro iliac joint issue that is manifesting itself with deep hip pain and some lower back pain for good measure. I'm following his advice on rest and the exercises as directed, but I just seems to be a long road with little improvement…

I've been off the road now for almost 9 weeks, with what my Physio has diagnosed as a a Sacro iliac joint issue that is manifesting itself with deep hip pain and some lower back pain for good measure. I'm following his advice on rest and the exercises as directed, but I just seems to be a long road with little improvement over the last 4-5 weeks. I was just wondering if anyone out there has had a similar injury and whether it was a lengthy recovery, because I am climbing the walls with frustration.
