Just a quickie folks, which had the better spec in 2008 for the astra, club or exclusice ? Anyone tell me the differences ?

Also, anything to look out for ? Wife is changing her car and is looking at one of these atm.

    Thanks.

Life was the base spec, Exclusive next then Club.

Not sure what the spec was on the Exclusive, but the Club should have Alloy's, A/C and leather MFSW.

thanks for the reply, what threw me was a drove an exlusive and it "seemed" to have blutooth, didnt pair my phone but the option was there in the instrument panel, would this have been an extra ordered by the buyer ?

Would have been an extra, but I think they were doing the Tech Pack for €250 or €350 in 08, which was Cruise Control and Bluetooth, so a lot went out with that.

it goes life, club, design, sri, exclusive

there was a base model without aircon but i dont think it was sold here.

the club has no leather, it has colour coded body trim and alloys over life. the design has half leather and trip computer. the sri has no leather but more features overall and most sporty

Don't think life had air con. Exclusive was in between life and club. Looking at one out the window right now and it doesn't even have alloys but does have the hubcaps that look like alloys. Afaik it doesn't have air con either. Will check next smoking break:D

Curiosity got the better of me. It's got cruise and aux in, no alloys, I'd assume Bluetooth as it's got the phone symbol on stereo controls, leather wheel and no air con!

The exclusive i was looking at had alloys, aux in, mfsw, blutooth, but no aic con, seems a bit of a mish-mash of std and opt extras.

Also, would the clubs have been hire cars ? or maybe lease, a few of the 08's have pretty close D reg numbers.

    Any links to an Ad?

Club's could well have been hire cars, or possibly out on lease to one customer for 3 years, all registered and back at the same time.

Yeah, went to another garage there, has 3 08's, all lease cars according to salesman.

Main Dealer and was using donedeal to get an idea of the wifes car for trade in value...seems very strange and unprofessional imo.

just check it on parkers. i read before that the life has air con. the sxi ans sri are kinda the more sporty models but the design would be the equivalent of the sri but more comfortable

Life is the basic on aircon or alloys model

I couldn't get the bluetooth on an sxi model to work before..

Isn't there a design model with fake alloys too?
