Log-in redirect error

This happened to me last night, too, but I didn't report it incase it was an obvious error.

After logging in, when usually the message page with "Please wait while you are being redirected" (or whatever it says) loads, I'm getting an error. Instead of the usual message I'm getting an error one, which says:

    "Could not find phrase 'invalid_redirect_url_x'."

I have to manually click out of this page and into another one to continue the log-in process.

That's odd, that phrase is definitely in the DB.

I managed to grab a screenshot of it for you (it happened just now again):

I'm using the HTTPS version of boards.ie (and b-static.net), if that's of any relevance. I can't imagine it would be, though. I've been using the SSL version of both for over 6 months without a single problem.

Are you using some browser extension to force HTTPS?

Yeah, now that I think of it, I am. I'm using a Greasemonkey script to force Boards onto HTTPS. That's likely my problem, then? I've been using the same script for close to 6 months to do the same thing, though, so I'm not sure what has changed between then and now.

There was a security patch for vBulletin that went in on Monday that would probably conflict with it.

The HTTPS support was added in order to support a different project, vBulletin hasn't been patched to be made aware of it. Stuff like this will continue to break until I get a chance to sort that out.

That makes sense, then. Thanks for clearing that up.

As long as my continuing to use the script doesn't cause problems on your end the problem doesn't bother me all that much. I know that using HTTPS to connect to the site, especially on a home connection, doesn't have too many benefits, and that it isn't really needed. I'm not sure why I continue to use it, really; I like to use HTTPS whenever it's available, I guess.

    Thanks again.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
