New laptop for college

Hi, looking for a new laptop to be used mainly for college work, but also the usual internet browsing, playing movies/music etc. Doesn't have to be fantastic but would like the specs to be somewhat decent so it isn't outdated too quickly. Provisional budget is around E500, any and all suggestions welcome, thanks.
