I have an old Porsche 911 that needs "a little" work. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic who deals with older (air cooled) porsche's, knows his stuff and doesn't mind the headaches that go with them!! (I'm not going to put down "resonably priced" as a necessary criteria, because unfortunatley I don't think Porsche and reasonable go in the same scentence, but if you know one.....

I used to use Barry Whelan when I had an '86 3.2, he was generally very good and quite reasonably-priced, but sometimes a little 'scatty'. I'd recommend him, as long as you don't mind sometimes doing a bit of chasing over little things.
