Peugeot Partner Van Problem

    Hi all,i own a peugeot partner van 2003,a problem suddenly occured,while driving between 1500 and 2000 rpm a chucking occurs mostly in 4th and 5th gear,i have had a diagnostic tests done and no faults were found,could anyone please help me figure out what the problem may be or if anyone may had the same problem,thanks all:confused:

    What engine have you got..1.9D or 2.0 hdi..?
    Could be anything from a dirty diesel filter to a sticking egr valve.

    Hi m8 its a 2.0l hdi engine,yea it is very hard to know what exactly what it is

    The first thing to do with any running problem is to change the fuel filter (if not already changed) then clean the egr valve.
    Is it smokie when you get the chucking..??
    if so what colour is the smoke..?

    Remove the fuel filter and check for metal fillings in the bottom of the fuel filter bowl.
