Hello. I'm fifteen (nearly sixteen) at the moment and I'm hoping to do my Theory Test in the near future. After passing that, would I be allowed drive on the main road whilst waiting until seventeen to apply for a full-license? Basically, I am confused. Thanks in advance. :)

You need to be 17 to drive a car on a pubic road in Ireland.
You can however drive a moped or a tractor on the road at 16.
There is now a requirement for IBT for motorcycles. Not sure about moped.
