Wondering if someone knows what might cause one side of the car radio to barely work. The left channel is strong, but you can hardly hear the right side. Any suggestions on what I should check? It is the stock Bose system that was originally installed. Thanks, K

Check the Balance settings on the radio. If it's set to the centre, then it's either speaker on the way out, or the head unit itself. The wiring even if it's frayed would give a full - albiet crackling - signal.
