Thinking about buying an Apple ipad 2 32GB but have heard rumors that there might be an ipad3 on the way, so do I buy now or wait awhile?

I'm buying one tomorrow after holding off on the iPad 1 because of the camera and a few other things. Buy the iPad 2 and wait for iPad 4. Its generally what I do because the major updates generally come in every second. So I won't upgrade my iPhone 4 til iPhone 6.

If you play the Apple waiting game, you'll never buy. Its not like buying a car or something that you want to last a while, as soon as you buy it it will depreciate and the next one will come along. If it fits you needs now, which the iPad 2 does for me, then buy it. Otherwise wait. The iPad 2 is probably the finished product in terms of where the iPad can go. Any additions will most likely be performance / screen / camera upgrades for the near future. I doubt there will be anything on iPad 3 that would make me regret buying now. The biggest upgrade will probably just be a retina display.

Apple are just starting to get a handle on iPad 2 demand, so I can't see them releasing a new iPad in September, especially when they have no competition worth talking about. I wouldn't expect the iPad 3 any earlier than March.
