I have a small wheeled suitcase which is exactly the size of Ryanair cabin baggage, I have never brought it as hand luggage on Aer Lingus but am hoping to this Friday, the dimensions for Aer Lingus are smaller than for Ryanair, Im assuming they wont actually notice my bag is a little bigger than actually allowed......(I dont want to pay 15 each way for it)
Has anyone had any problems with Aer Lingus and cabin baggage ??
    Thanks.

Dimensions and weight for hand luggage are the same for both ryanair and aerlingus
    10kg
    55cm x 40cm x 20com
    22in x 16in x 8in

I had link to both and had written a lenghty response but whe website here logged me out while I was writting my message so when I responded it was lost.

Anyway I have a similar query as to how strict aerlingus are
    My bag measures
    23in x 14in x 8in

So it is an inch too tall but 2in below the width limits
Guys do you think this would be a problem with aerlingus.

I've never had any issues myself or even seen anyone else having issues with the size of their baggage on Aer Lingus flights. I was even able to bring a coffee maker in a big box onto my flight home from Milan last year with them, it wouldn't fit in the overheads and the staff were dead sound.

Has anyone flown Aer Lingus Regional Flights (Flight No. 3000-4000) to Edinburgh or Birmingham recently? I know the cabin luggage size is smaller and wt limit is 7kg. On the website , it states you can also bring a small personal item like a handbag or camera. Is it still the case and if so is it included in the 7kg limit?
