My dad has the full Sky package.

To enable me to watch Sky on my Xbox / laptop am i right in saying that:

    1. He signs up for a Sky ID which will give him a username and password.

    2. I just log in using that username / password .

Yep that's basically it, you'll need to have Sky Card number or account info when signing up.

Before Sky Go there was Sky Player which used to allow 4 devices to use Sky Player i.e. laptop, iphone, etc.

With Sky Go you are only allowed 2 devices.

Plus if you delete a device, you'll have to wait 1 month before adding a new device (well, that's the way it was with Sky Player.)

That waiting period has been lifted due to the limitation of 2 devices.

    That's good.

That is no problem i hope .

As he does not use Sky Go at all i presume i can use my Xbox as one of the devices and my laptop the other?

    I can

Can I watch TV from Sky on my Xbox 360?

Yes. Sky TV customers with an Xbox LIVE Gold membership can use their Xbox 360 to watch TV from Sky, in line with their subscription, as part of the two devices they can register for Sky Go.

Hi guys, I am moving to Asia for a couple of months and want to still use my already installed Sky Go app on my laptop and iPhone. Is there anyway I could get around this?
