HID Kit - Celica

    Can anyone tell me what the deal is around a HID Kit and headlights. What does a “Projector Headlight” mean. Do you need it to install a HID kit?
    Just bought a seventh gen Celica and want to fit a good set of HID’s but not too sure whats needed so the lights are not blinding to on coming drivers. Has anyone here fit them to a Celica before? What Kits do people find the best?

    HID's need different pattern dispersal compared to standard lights so if you use them with standard lenses your going to scatter the pattern all over the place.

    To correctly fit them you'll need the HID kit and also the projector headlight so that the pattern is correct for the HID's light dispersal.

    I'm also looking into this on my Audi A4 b6. Its the lens in the middle thats the projector, sort of like a frosted dome.
