How long does it take to get a viewing card

Hi, am wondering if someone can advise as to how long it typically takes to receive a viewing card from sky? Sky said 5-7 days. I'm now on day 9 (or 7 working days from when I ordered it) & until it arrives, I can't book an engineer to do the install (I'm in an apartment with a communal dish in place). Does it usually take this long for ROI customers to receive a viewing card?

I've left UPC for sky, so am now only getting my saorview channels until sky arrives (if it ever will)

Ive been in touch with sky & all they can do is send another card (which will take another 5-7 days, which I'm not keen on having them do just yet in case the first one arrives) but that will void the first card, so if it happens to arrive in the meantime it would be useless anyway.

Anyone have any similar delays in receiving their cards from sky? Or should I just go ahead and have sky dispatch a new card altogether?

Generally 3-7 days,if for any reason your postman doesn't deliver it then it's sent back to Sky.
Give 'em a ring and get another sent out.

Took 3 weeks to get mine. I lost count of how many times they said "it's in the post".
Anyone would have thought it was a cheque! ;)

Yeah, 10 phone calls later & after getting two, prior address confirmations read back to me, turns out that the address setup on sky's system for my account was WAAAYYYY off! So now I'm waiting for my new card to arrive! Nice to learn though that priority post from sky is available for customers.... Just not those in ROI, so it's another 5-7 day wait!!
