I'm looking at a car that is NCT'd until September 2011? Would it be wise to buy it? It's from a dealer. :D It's a Toyota Yaris.

They would if they thought you'd pay it ;)

I'd be the idiot that would pay it! I might ring them and ask if they would put it through the NCT

    Don't.

Tell them that you might be interested after it's passed a fresh NCT.

    Subtle but firm.

So I should ask if it has been NCT'd because the ad on carzone hasn't been updated in a while...and if they say no I should tell them I'm not interested? :)

Go and see it. Test drive it. If it's good and the NCT is up/due tell the seller what I suggested above.

You'll achieve nothing using a keyboard or telephone I think.

p.s. If it's been on Carzone for a while there's generally a reason for it. Overpriced maybe?
