Do you have the actual codes?

Coilpacks would be a common cause of misfire on the astra but there should be more specific code descriptions then that unless its a very basic code reader.

I got the codes from when you press down accelerator and brake pedal on second ignition and the codes flashed up..it was 0230 and 0300, so i googled it and it is fuel pump and engine misfire, car was starting to chug aswell and had no power on low revs today..I only had the car less than a week so I brought it back to garage not expecting much and they gave me my money back, which I thought was very nice of them:D

Thats a bit strange, would they not have just repaired it?

Its the fathers friend, I had a feeling that this car was going to give me trouble so I was safe than sorry and took the money back when offered

Get the car onto a diagnostic machine. That car is very new to have blink codes. Coil packs are a common failure also.
