    Hi All,

One area of my photography that is severely lacking is PPing events like family weddings, christenings etc - basically anything involving people posing and smiling.

I was wondering if any of the illustrious members of the boards might be interested in doing a step-by-step from a RAW shot with flash inside a church through to a final print ready image?

Also of interest would be a similar step by step for an outdoor shot of people.

Bonus points for including tips etc on actually taking the picture in the first place with a view to PPing afterward.

I understand pro's have their own secrets for their own unique tones etc, but if anyone could share a sort of 'standard' process that would allow an amateur to provide something nice to family/friends that'd be great!

    Thanks in advance!

Pity you are in Galway, I would have happily shown you some techniques. What software do you use?

Thanks STG - I have Bibble 5 for RAW conversion, and either Gimp or Photoshop for editing.

I could maybe upload a couple of examples of the sooc pictures to a private gallery and show you tomorrow evening?

    Hey David,

Unfortunately didn't get a chance to try them yet, had to go into town for the evening, will give them a go on the pc tomorrow evening for sure, so looking forward to it!

Sure send me on an email if you want me to give you any suggestions on particular shots. Will have to go to Galway in the next few months too so will try remember to give you a shout when I do. I much rather going through things in person rather than typing as I am absolutely brutal at explaining things in text.
