Hi All. We are looking for some suggestions of Child Friendly routes for a days cycling in the greater Dublin (ish) area. We have done the Pheonix park in Dublin quite a few times and love the off road cycle lanes for the kids and picnic tables etc. Our youngest is 6 so keeping her in a straight line is a challange :) . Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    You could try

The track to Sutton - you could also tie that in with a spin around St Anne's Park; and

The track on the south side of the Liffey from Chapelizod to the War Memorial Gardens

Killiney Hill is fun. Great views from the top, and a handy "rock of death" for mucking around on.

Seapoint to Dun Laoghaire? Then reward them with an ice-cream in Teddys :D

You could take the bikes on the Dart.

You could take the bikes on the Dart.

After your ice cream you could continue up the Metals to Dalkey. New surface makes it very good for Kids.
