    Hi y’all

Quick warning should if you are booking flights in Oz or NZ. Watch out for the bank conversion fees if you book through your oz/nz bank account. I booked a holiday back to Ireland through farecompare.com. The flight was in sterling and I paid with my Westpac debit card. I didn’t read the T&C of the account and got hit for a 3% foreign transaction charge. 3%, not much you say….$58 it cost me!!
    Just a word of warning!!

    Munky

oh, dont keep looking at the same flights after you book or you might see they have dropped by 350 dollars, sigh...

It's not just flights, it's any transaction processed by a merchant outside the country.

Also it's not the bank charging the fee, it's Visa/Mastercard.
