yahoo email hacked advice please

    First i am not a whizz kid on pc,s and just surf and email so if this sounds silly forgive me,was in asia last week and went to regster on a travel forum called India Mike i used my yahoo email address and since then i cannot access my account it tells me my password is wrong so i am assumeing i have been hacked and my password changed,now if this is the case is it only my account that has been hacked or is all the infomation on my laptop at risk, i only use this account for stuff like this and nothing personal which is on another email account i have (not yahoo).How do i contact yahoo directly to close this account,i was on wifi at the time and how can i stop this happening again,but my main worry is that spyware has been installed such as keylogger,i did not open any links at the time and only discovered this next day when i could not access my yahoo account to activate the india mike account useing the link they sent me.Thank you in advance.
    P.S. i use AVG free anti virus
