Can I Find an Ipod touch through WiFi???

misplaced my ipod touch cant find it anywhere at home and just wondering if theres a way i can check if its still connected to my wifi reuter? so maybe i can know that its def round the house somewhere. btw i dont have any app installed to locate it.
