    Hi. Im using Version 9.0.

I have downloaded a scanned pdf of an old book, the pages of which were evidently yellowed. I tried to OCR it so I can search for various references, but it didn't work.

I think it is because it doesn't distinguish the black text too well from the browny-yellow background. I was thinking I might be able to convert it to B&W - but I can't figure out a way to do it. Not sure how to use Distiller... not even sure of what it does....

Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks..
