Is Judah really a nothing opponent for Khan?

When this fight was made I put a small amount down on Khan by decision but after I bit of thought and looking at the odds more went down on a Judah KO.

Judah is quite evasive and I think this will have improved a little more under Whitaker. It's a turning point for him and I see himself pushing himself in the gym.
Judah will evade quite a good bit of what Khan throws and he's a solid puncher himself. I think he'll cause more trouble when he lands than Khan will.
While he may not have Khan's speed, he's still got fast hands.

I think he would also do a much better job against both McCloskey and Maidana than Khan managed. Seen a few picks of he's shape on boxing scene earlier and they have me more convinced that this is far from the one sided beating people think it is -

Dutching a Khan by decision/Judah KO win works out just bigger than evens. That will do for me. Hopefully Judah wins though.

He looks up for the fight alright, but I'd expect Khan to win by 2 or 3 rounds. Khan technically still seems a bit rough around the edges but his speed and combinations will win him a majority of the rounds and he's fast enough to get out of trouble in some of the others. A much tougher fight than his last few though without a doubt.

    5 on each -

If Judah wins by KO my 5 euro becomes 41
If Khan wins by decision my 5 becomes 13.60

Judah can pose and loook all good all he likes; he is past his best days.
Saying that, Khan has a lot to lose should he lose this bout. I will take
Khan by clear decision, but it will be competitive, and Judah's experienece
will see some wobbly moments for Amir. I had initially thought this might
resemble Khan-Malignaggi. No, it won't be that one sided at all.

BTW, a KO win for either man would not at all surprise me.

Unless yer talking about a fighter who was never really in much shape you can ignore all of the gym photos and padwork videos you see in the gym. I'v been fooled once too often. Fighters never stray too far from their overall career fights. Getting near fight night anyways they lose most o that muscle to make weight. Those Judah arms for instance look too big.
Back to OP, I think yer right twill be a close fight but I favour Khan by points.

Going by people on here saying Judah is past it, Khan should fight a better opponent. Maybe Miguel Cotto at 147?

Cotto may be better than Judah, but Cotto too is past it, and badly worn as well. Been in a few wars over the past few years.

Interesting post. Instinctively, I was gonna agree but then the image of Urango came to mind. He looked huge fighting at LWW.

I imagine what muscle's there, is there to stay. Judah does look thick in the arms (especially in third pic) and I do wonder about the effect of that (new) muscle on the speed he's known for.

I think a young Khan takes an aging Judah. Khan's speed should get him out out trouble if/when it comes

I like Cotto but I think he is no longer the same fighter since the Marg fight. I think he was badly damaged mentally and you can see fear and worry in his eyes when things start going against him. You could see it in the mayorga fight for 2 rounds when things started to turn and also at the end of rounds when mayorga was giving him eyes.
I don't think he has it mentally anymore and that's bad for a guy known for his coolness in the ring

What addition is whittaker as a trainer? Brilliant fighter in his prime, but i saw an interview with him a couple of years ago and he was slurring his words and rambling, making no sense. hope he's better now but if you saw the interview you would say the guys brain is gone.

I think the slurring was prob due to his drug habit .
it surely isnt from being hit .... you couldnt get a glove on the chap

Cotto Maragarito rematch is set for December, should be fun.

    Judah is knocking him out.

    Believe that.

It's a fight i'll definitely be watching but i'm not looking forward to it. I think Marg had plaster in the wraps last time around and the rematch is something that never should happen.
I think a bad round for Cotto and the memories could come flooding back, really hope i'm wrong on that though

I'd say this current version of Cotto would crush Khan...

It's down for 154lb so i'd be a bit worried for Cotto as i still think he looks small at the weight whereas Margacheato will be massive. I hope Cotto retires him.

Judah is past it but with Khans chin(which I think is still suspect) it could go either way. Wide points for Khan and KO for Judah.

That's how I see it. If Khan can take his shots comfortably, he will have far too much volume and speed and skill. No surprise if Judah gets a KO.
I think that is his only chance. Judah is not out-boxing Amir Khan.

What I do not like about Khan is how he throws a combination of punches, and comes straight out again. Meanwhile the crowd cheers whenever he lands a combo but in reality it has no effect. That is his game plan, in and out with the non-effective combo's while the Sky commentators hype it up as a masterclass and very offensive. If you are going to hurt a man stay in with him longer, don't try to look very offensive.

I'd like for Khan to be countered real good.

And he was in good shape at the weigh in as well (although when you look at bradley and pascal you know shape means little). Just hoping for a good fight -

Yes he looks ripped but he looks badly proportioned. Those big arms are propelled forward in part by upper shoulder and muscles around the upper back. That is where he doesn't look to have much weight. Khan is built the opposite, thin arms, but nice muscle on upper shoulders and the back and in his legs. Super ripped looking guys as well, usually means they haven't drank any water or eaten any food in about 24 hours.

I've bet on both as I see it the same way...only thing change the "and" for "or"

Wow I didnt even realise this was on.. I thought Kahn was in a higher weight division... I have always thought "super" was a little scumbag..

His low blows, attacking the ref after the Tsyzu fight, and his general trash talk... I hope Kahn cleans his clock..

gonna look for a stream .. Ladbrokes says 03:00
