refunding emergency tax.

    Hi guys

    iv seen in a few threads about natonal ins numbers and applying for them

    Rite iv got that out the way. I am working now but itl take afew weeks befor i get the number.

    What im asking is will be refunded for emergency tax automaticaly, or will i have ti claim for it . As im already working without the number.?

    can any1 help

    Two ways I have seen done.

    Payroll adjusts you your allowance to refund it, or tax man send you a cheque directly after the tax year closes

    If possible speak to the person doing the wages nicely
