Do you need special apps to do the above or can you just do it through your USB cable?
    Thanks in advance.

Can you recommend any sites or is that against the rules? I tried one site but it didn´t seem to be saving anything, thought there might be a problem with the type of file. Does it have to be a certain type of file?

Once the usb drivers are instaled the S2 should show up in windows explorer. Just drag and drop the files to the phone that way.

As regards the type of file...if its a media file install the free VLC app. It plays pretty much anything.

    Hop this helps

USB drivers are for android debug bridge + kies. Not needed for copying. You do need to explicitly click "mount usb" on the phone before it will appear on windows tho.
