UPC says I am not qualified to get the 125 voucher

UPC says I am not qualified with the 125 voucher.

The recent offer from UPC: http://www.upc.ie/retailoffer/

    The story is that:
There was a UPC broadband service in the house, but the previous account holder cancelled it. Then I ordered the UPC broadband and phone bundle on my name two month ago from CARPHONEWAREHOUSE. At the moment I ordered it, the broadband in the house was stopped already, and the offer from UPC was available

But now I went to CARPHONEWAREHOUSE to ask for the voucher, then the staff rang UPC to confirm that if I am qualified to get the voucher. Then UPC says:
Because there was already a UPC service in the house, the cable was there, so I am not a new customer, so I am not qualified to have the voucher

One more thing is: A guy from UPC rang me after I ordered the UPC broadband and phone bundle to confirm the order. That guy said I will get the 125 voucher. Unfortunately I can't find that guy, I did not remember his name.

I do not know what to do now, I am confused. Am I not a new customer to UPC? So I am a old customer? what about if I cancel the UPC, do I need to pay for 100 cancellation charge ...

Let me know how this works out for you zsh. I've just moved into a new house but the UPC co-axials are there so I'm probably in the same boat as you. I'd switch to get this offer but if not I'll just get sky I think.

In all fairness your team should be chasing up with your customer.
Plenty of unemployed people would work their ass off and treat people with some respect!

Boards in anonomous, so I cannot help unless the customer PM's me all their details, that is why I ask the customer to contact my team directly, so it can get the immediate attention I intend it to get. If I could "chase up" this customer to help, thats exactly what I would do.

I think you will find many very postive comments here on boards regarding my retail support team, and how excellent the service they provide is.
