May be of some interest to someone here:

    From http://www.cultureireland.gov.ie/aboutus/index.html

Culture Ireland creates and supports opportunities for Irish artists and companies to present and promote their work at strategic international festivals, venues, showcases and markets.

Culture Ireland operates a quarterly funding scheme [February, May, August and November] to support the international presentation of work by Irish artists and companies. Applications are accepted from both participating artists and from international presenters.

In addition, Culture Ireland presents showcases of Irish work at key arts events and markets including Arts Presenters [APAP] New York, the Edinburgh Festivals, and the Venice Biennale.

Culture Ireland also operates a scheme designed to enable Irish artists and companies to invite international presenters, curators and promoters to see new Irish work available for touring.
