Main pump working intermitentaly

I have a 2 bed house with a pump on-top of a 50l vessel that i installed 2 years ago as every time that we turned on the water tap in the bathroom or flush the toilet the pump would start and this was noisy, so to avoid this i installed a pump that sits on-top of a 50l pressurised vessel, This has worked great up till now. It used to only come on once a day but now it turns on every time the toilet is flushed or the tap is turned on. When it comes on it switches itself on for about 10-15 sec's then off for 10-15 sec then on again.... this will last for approx 4-5 minutes. So it doesn't seem to be filling the vessel.

    Any ideas?

Ensure there is air in the vessel

There will be a schrader valve at one end of the vessel. Same as on a car tyre. Depress the inside valve to see does air come out. Your problem is your tank is water logged and has no air in it. This causes the pump to cycle and may burn out the pumps motor.
