    Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a good and reasonably priced recording studio in Dublin?

I live in Dublin 9, so somewhere on the northside or in the city centre would be ideal!

I'd like to record two or three songs, with me playing guitar, keys and bass. I have a singer, and I'd need to find a drummer to help. Do studios typically have regular session musicians on their books to play in these situations?

Any help, advice or observations most welcome!

    Best wishes,

    Tony

Elektra studio is great value for what you get. its located above the button factory in temple bar. http://www.templelanestudios.com/elektra/content.php?ID=1

we recorded there around 13 months ago, I dont think the web site has been updated in a while, we got different (better) prices ;).

I'd recommend www.fastlanestudio.net based in North County Dublin (Donabate). I recorded an album there about 2 years ago. Excellent gear and Stephen in there really knows his stuff. Check out the samples on website.

Stephen Brett is the studio owner and also a musician (drums/guitar/bass) and often offers session work to clients.

Best of luck with the recording.

    Cheers,
    Seany
