Handicap adjustment from society outing

Played in a society outing on Saturday.
Won with 41 points:D but there was lift, clean and place on fairways and drop in rough.
Will this affect my GUI handicap?
I understood that the ruling for scoring above the sss in a society outing was only taken into consideration at years end and that i was to record my score with my home club but i have been hearing conflicting info.
Does it matter if there was clean/place?
    thks

There can be a qualifying competition if there is just placing on the fairway.
When it is lift, clean and drop in the rough, it is non qualifying.

The only exception where you can touch the ball in the rough is when a local
rule is introduced for embedded ball in the rough.

Don't know the ins and outs regarding societies.
