Spotted this on my way home from a weekend in Donegal today. It was parked in the carpark at The Yeats Tavern outside Sligo. My better half insisted on approaching the driver to ask him about it.
It contained 40 German tourists and each had a bunk in the back.

It sure is. I thought it was a fancy cattle / sheep truck as I passed . Just had to do a U-turn to check it out.

Rather erm.... compact wouldn't you say? I mean, you'd seriously want to have a no farting in bed policy.

This was on the campsite in Salthill a few weeks ago.
With the awnings out and the tables and chairs underneath it doesnt look too bad at all.
As for sleeping arrangements, it must be cosy.

    They are still in business?

My granny (may she rest in peace) has been to such far flung places as the USA, Egypt, Greece and indeed Ireland with this company some 30 years ago.

    She loved it, btw :D

I've seen those around Killarney several times.

If you google them it shows the skipping quarters, doesn't look too poky.

I'd say the level of snoring on that thing of an evening (after a few sherrys) would be nobodys business....:)

I saw one of those near killarney a couple of years back, and in austria too even further back except it was a green bus and a fair bit older. Seems a bit mad to me but could be handy for some

I presume theres a no romance policy, you'd have to put down those tent ropes (guy ropes?) to stablise it !! :D

We were hoping to get a look inside but they were literally about to go when we surrounded them:D
Would anyone fancy driving that down some of our coastal roads?YIKES.
It would certainly take a lot of the adventure out of campervanning if you had to stick to the main roads.
Think I'll stick to my own van until the family gets bigger:D
