I stupidly mislaid my p60 for the tax year 2010. Can I get a copy online or even from HR in the company?

    Thanks.

A question often asked on boards .

Your first port of call would have to be your employer . - They should have a copy .

If they do not have copy , they should give you a ''statement of earnings '

If you have already received a P21 from the Tax office , then all earning figures are on this document .

If you gave a copy of your P60 to Social Welfare / Medical Card / other sourse , one of them would have a copy .

sorry to drag this up again. Thought I'd post here rather than starting another P60 thread.

I've been unemployed since march 2009 and claimed Jobseekers benefit, JSB, till December 2009 via a RP9. I made a very difficult but very personal choice not proceed to claim the JSA/dole when my credits ran out. I have had no other form of income since i became unemployed.

I have now started a training program that will lead to a job-bridge position.
So I signed on the live register last week so i can gain some sort of income during the program.

I must now go through a 'means test' which is fine.... but i'am missing a P60.
Would the welfare officer have this on file? Would I have been issued a P60 since I have been unemployed. My past employer no longer exists.

    thanks in advance

Your employer will only give you (and is obliged to give you) a p60, if you are in their employment on 31st December in that year. So, it's nearly 100% likely you won't have been given a p60 for 2009. Hope this helps:o
