Driving in UK - Insurance Question

    Had a quick look at my policy and it mentions that I should inform the ins company if I am travelling to UK or Europe.

    Would this be normal and also apply to Norn Iron as I would travel up there regularly?

    There is no legal need to inform them for short trips. Your insurance is valid for 3rd party like at home.

    If you have fully comp they may well try to welch on any claims if you did not tell them.

    Having to tell them about every spin up north would become old very fast.
