Is it too late to apply to college for this year as a mature student ?

    :confused: Hi, I reckon its too late but ive decided i want to go to College after been made redundant and i have no 3rd level qualifications as yet. Im thinking next year is possibly my next option to go to college as a mature student, does anyone have the answer ?

    AFAIK it has to be done through the CAO in April. however ITB are currently enrolling for Springboard courses, they are specifically geared towards professionals who are out of work

    I'm a mature student going into 3rd year and I cant recommend going back highly enough. Its the best thing I ever did. good luck with it

    You might get a place on a PLC if your lucky. Ring around to the college and see what they say.

    Also for most part time courses in ITB I think you apply to the college directly.

    Best advice would be to ring the college.

    ITB is the most suitable college for commuting for me but the list of courses for springboard were not what i wanted, im thinking of going for social or community work. Im going to ring them. Thanks for your help, much appreciated :)
