    Hi Guys

I was pulled over today for speeding on the A1 by an unmarked psni car which i drove by. I think i might have been lucky but i'm not 100 percent sure. He warned me over speeding and said i was doing way over 70mph limit. He didn't take any of my details or look at my my southern licence and just said don't be doing it again.

Can i assume i just got a nice cop and he isn't going to take it any forward ?? Thanks

If he was going to do anything he would have arrested you and taken you down the station. Standard policy for dealing with southern speeders.

Nope. They can only issue fines to NI and UK mainland addresses.

It is force policy to arrest and then bail offenders from the south to appear in court. You have to pay bail of £300 to get out. You get back the balance when you are fined in court.
