where to buy second hand iphone?

    i would rather buy in a shop than donedeal or adverts.ie, and i am in the Dublin area. anybody know of any good shops that sell second hand/refurbed iphones please and thanks?

    There is a place around abbey street/Liffey street. Most the second hand iPhones you buy in a shop would be reconditioned. the big problem with buying reconditioned phones is if they ever had water damage. your better off buying privately if the owner seems legit, has the original box, receipt, etc

    Know any body who does iPhone repairs? It might be a good idea to have them take a look at any potential purchases. It takes roughly one minute to tell if an iPhone 3G/S or 4 has liquid damage.
    The issue with liquid damage is that there might be no problems now, but there will inevitably be problems down the line. People realise this and sell them while they're working to get the extra dosh.

    For what it's worth mel123 I've bought a few iPhones for myself and family members on adverts and never had a problem. For me it's the first stop when I want to buy anything.
