    Dear All,

can anyone please advise me as to how much more expensive an "attic truss" roof would be compared to a conventional roof (roughly), and also the same question as regards concrete 1st floor versus conventional floor?

any helpful guidance would be appreciated.

truss roofs usually work in cheaper than cut roofs, but only marginally. a cut roof is (in a personal opinion) a far better roof. heavier timbers done to your own spec.
precast conc floor is costing e28 plus vat beside me delivered at momemnt. its the extra costs you may want to think about. battening below for ceilings or else mf ceiling. conc screed on top or battening and plying. Whats the span will you need say 10 newton blocks instead of six newton will they need to be built on flat to accomadate slabs.
Traditional joisting for materials only will cost you at a minimum of 25 per metre on an optimum run with little waste.
