It's interesting to note that after the capitalization, AIB & Irish Live ranks in the top 18 of the 90 odd banks tested! None of the UK banks makes the top 25 and BOI is more or less keeping up with the UK ones.

Interesting how the papers concentrated on the few banks that failed and never mentioned how well the Irish ones did, but then of course the would not sell papers!
